Dan Ghenacia's first exposure to house music is not unlike most music enthusiasts'; Ghenacia was introduced to house from a rave he attended, and shortly after, the records and turntables followed. A French native, Ghenacia's taste in music varies from disco-funk to traditional, down-tempo house. After high school, in 1995, the Parisian relocated to San Diego. He made friends with DJ Quark and landed his first public gig at a club called "Flame." Within two years of his return to France, Ghenacia's DJing career started growing.
