Danae Dörken is a German pianist of German and Greek heritage. At age five, she began studying piano with Marina Kheifets, and in six months of starting lessons she won her first piano competition. A winner of many competitions since, Dörken notably won the Prix Unique, an award created especially for her as the youngest participant at the International Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede, Netherlands.
