Singing about timeless subjects like life, love, and loss, chart-topping Dutch musician Danny Vera is known for a mix of vintage rock, Americana, and a kinship with the classic 1970s singer/songwriters. Although his 2003 solo debut, For the Light in Your Eyes was a major-label release, and he went on to lead a TV house band in the Netherlands, his first album to chart at home was the 2013 live album Distant Rumble.
