Biography
Named in tribute to one of the key members of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Delia Derbyshire Appreciation Society are an ambient duo consisting of British musician Garry Hughes and New York-based Harvey Jones. The pair compose tranquil, romantic instrumentals on releases such as their eponymous 2017 debut.
Both artists are music industry veterans. Hughes has played keyboards for numerous artists including Björk, Sly & Robbie, and the Art of Noise, released two solo albums in the 1980s, and co-founded Bombay Dub Orchestra in 2001. Jones has worked extensively with Chris Botti ...
