Santa Barbara, California-based bedroom electronic artist DENM makes laid-back pop songs infused with pop, dance, and reggae influences. He first gained attention with his 2016 hit "Lit" and his Dreamhouse EP. DENM played in various indie rock outfits before launching himself onto the world stage with the release of "Lit" in late 2016. The catchy track combined bouncy Italo house rhythms with fat EDM bass, woozy chillwave synths, and smoked-out, high-pitched vocals.
