Playing raw rock & roll boogie with undercurrents of blues and country and lyrics that spin tales of debauched good times, Denney and the Jets are the creation of singer and guitarist Chris Denney, who was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and claims to have developed an impressive appetite for tobacco, marijuana, and pain pills (the latter swiped from his grandmother) by the time he was 13 years old.
