The leader of New York's breakbeat movement under the banner of Liquid Sky Design (a combination record store, clothing imprint, show promoter and record label), Carlos Soul Slinger grew up in Brazil but was present in New York during the '70s disco movement and London for both the '80s acid house revolution and the drum'n'bass phenomenon of the '90s.
