Long one of the most innovative and influential DJs on the West Coast club circuit, Doc Martin began spinning house records in San Francisco in 1986, quickly winning a cult following among warehouse party denizens for his eclectic tastes and skill at mixing the crowd with the music. After several years of masterminding epic eight-hour sets at clubs including Flammable Liquid and Sunday Love, Martin relocated to Los Angeles, where he soon took up residency at the Metropolis.
