Don Woody

It's not that Don Woody was a reluctant rock star. He was fine with it, actually, but it just wasn't anything he'd exactly planned on being. Born June 29, 1937 in the small town of Tuscumbia, MO, Woody had started a career as a radio DJ while still in high school and had his own standup comedy routine that he took around to local clubs, and while he had a passion for drums (and played them quite well), music was just one of many hats he had the choice of wearing on any given day.
