In a redemptive rags-to-riches tale, Nashville-based Americana singer/songwriter Doug Seegers enjoyed late-in-life success after being discovered and championed by a popular Swedish country music star. Following early attempts at a musical career in the 1970s, Seegers left the business to raise a family, eventually trying his luck again years later after his children were grown.
