Dro Carey

Dro Carey is just one of the many alter egos of Australian producer and DJ Eugene Ward. Born in Perth and based in Sydney, Ward dabbles in multiple electronic subgenres like garage, house, and grime. While still in high school, he released his debut work, Venus Knock, on the Trilogy Tapes imprint. Influenced by Miles Davis, rappers like Raekwon and GZA, and electronic artists like DJ Shadow, El-B, and Jeff Mills, Ward began releasing music for his Dro Carey project in 2011.
