Stellar Award-nominated Southern gospel artist Eddie Ruth Bradford has been performing in the church since childhood. As a youngster, she sang with the gospel vocal group the Bradford Family, but music eventually became a secondary concern for Bradford as she studied at Delta State in her native Mississippi, eventually earned a master's degree, and became a nurse practitioner.
