Edward Perez

Edward Perez is a bassist, composer, and arranger based in Queens, New York. His works have been recorded and performed by many artists including Silkroad Ensemble, Yo-Yo Ma, Cristina Pato, Ignacio Berroa, and Kenan Adnawi. With saxophonist/composer Michael Thomas, he co-founded the 18-piece Terraza Big Band. In addition to his work as a sideman and touring player, Perez is a member of trumpeter Jason Palmer's quintet.
