Los Angeles-based Ephwurd are an in-demand house music duo known for their genre-bending approach to electronic dance music, often dubbed "bass house" due to its contemporary dubstep-style "bwah" bass drops. Formed in 2014, Ephwurd feature the talents of Canadian-born DJ/producer Troy Beetles (aka Datsik) and California-born DJ/producer Basie Hauser (aka Bais Haus), the son of late Manhattan Transfer member Tim Hauser.
