Eshon Burgundy

Rapper Eshon Burgundy was born Anton Eshon Hairston in Abington, Pennsylvania on April 21, 1980. Hairston became involved in the underground hip-hop community in Philadelphia in his teens, but was unsuccessful in launching a career as a rapper. After devoting his life to Christianity in 2001, he focused his career on making overtly Christian-themed rap music. Hairston built up a touring résumé performing across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom alongside artists both inside and far beyond the Christian rap scene, including Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Alicia Keys....
