Filtering jangly guitar pop and melancholy lyricism though a soft-focus lens, Fake Laugh emerged from London with handful of EPs in the mid-2010s. The solo project of singer/songwriter Kamran Khan (Lovepark), Fake Laugh presented a more coherent version of its bittersweet indie pop on the Fake Laugh album in 2017.
