London-based singer/songwriter Fauness debuted in 2018 with her EP Toxic Femininity, bringing a blast of icy, eclectic pop with the help of pioneering U.K. dance producer Jam City. Born and raised in North London, Fauness (aka Cora Gilroy Ware) grew up on an eclectic diet of music, but gravitated toward pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Living in the multicultural Finsbury Park area of London brought her into contact with a mixture of cultures that would go on to inform her own songwriting.
