Fingers Inc.

The top early Chicago house group and the first outlet for the production genius of Larry Heard, Fingers Inc. was formed in 1985 by Heard with vocalists Robert Owens and Ron Wilson. Though the group often took a sideline to Heard's solo jaunts as Mr. Fingers, at their best they rivalled Ten City with expressive club gems like "You're Mine," "It's Over" and "A Love of My Own." The group also spawned the first (and some say best) house LP, 1988's Another Side.
