About

Finlay MacNeill

Biography

Humorously known as "The Godfather of the Highland Mafia," Finlay MacNeill is a well-known Scottish piper, singer, and Gaelic scholar. In 1971 he won the gold medal of the Highland Society of London for his piobaireachd (a species of music composed solely for and played solely on the Highland pipe) playing at the Argyllshire Gathering. ~ Zac Johnson
