Foodman

Foodman is the Westernized recording alias of Japanese experimental electronic producer Takahide Higuchi, who is known in his native country as Shokuhin Maturi ("Food Festival"). Based in Yokohama, his music often resembles a deconstructed take on Chicago's juke/footwork sound, further mutating its frenetic bass and off-kilter, rapid-fire samples. His tracks feature very unconventional rhythms and occasional bursts of noise.
