Much like their bandleader Andy Shauf's solo material, Foxwarren's gentle, folk- and psychedelia-shaded indie rock dwells in reflection and daydreams. After playing together on and off for ten years, the band's eponymous debut saw release in 2018. Founded in the Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada in the late 2000s, Foxwarren comprised college friends Shauf, Dallas Bryson (guitar), and brothers Darryl Kissick (bass) and Avery Kissick (drums).
