Not to be confused with Frontiers, the Journey cover band, Frontier(s) are an indie rock band from Louisville, KY featuring emo pioneer Chris Higdon. As the singer for Elliott and Falling Forward, Higdon was a part of the wildly influential post-hardcore scene in Louisville, helping to lay the foundation for the genre's thrashy, emotive sound. Not ready to be put out to songwriting pasture, Higdon teamed up with guitarist Matthew Wieder, bassist Bryan Todd, and drummer Eagle Berber in Frontier(s) during 2008.
