Employing a lethal blend of grindcore, punk, death, black, doom, and sludge metal, Sweden's Gadget has roots that trace back to the late 1990s. Originally conceived as the instrument-switching alter-ego of a more traditional metalcore unit called Abegail, the band was founded by William Blackmon, who alongside Rikard Olsson, recorded the first Gadget demo as a duo.
