Best-known as the lead vocalist of Hooverphonic, Geike Arnaert recorded eight studio albums with one of Belgium's most popular pop acts before leaving for a solo career in 2008. Born in Heuvelland in 1978, she first tested the waters by duetting with legendary crooner Bobbejaan Schoepen on the historical French song "Le Temps des Cerises."
