Geordie Greep

Best known as the frontman of British avant-rock outfit Black Midi, Geordie Greep stepped out on his own in 2024 with the release of his debut solo album, The New Sound. Born and raised in East London, Greep grew up on a diet of his parents' eclectic record collection, absorbing classical, prog rock, country, and jazz. He picked up a guitar at the age of eight and played throughout his youth, eventually performing live with local gospel church groups.
