Founding members Eglantine Gouzy and Frederic Landini had exchanged musical ideas formally and informally prior to their work in Get Back Guinozzi! -- Landini had even made an appearance on Gouzy's solo debut, Boamaster, released on Osaka Records in 2006. While Get Back Guinozzi! shared much of the fuzzy, electronic sensibilities of Gouzy's early work, the group would ultimately prove to be a far more energetic and fun-loving affair.
