Texas punk band Ghetto Ghouls' raw, feral sound forsook the trend of 2010s garage rock bands looking to stony '70s psychedelia as a starting point and instead found their primary inspiration in the chaos and insanity of confrontational bands like Scratch Acid, the Dicks, and the Electric Eels.
