Ghost Orchard is the lo-fi bedroom pop project of Grand Rapids, Michigan-based artist Sam Hall, who issued his debut album, Poppy, independently in 2015. It was reissued the following year alongside his sophomore effort, Bliss, on Orchid Tapes, the same label that helped launch the careers of cited influences Spencer Radcliffe, Katie Day, and Alex G. Hall continued to refine his sound on 2019's well-received Bunny, which combined earnest trap-folk and low-key electronic pop with lyrics steeped in the wounded optimism of young love.
