Glories

Glories are a five-piece instrumental post-rock ensemble based out of Birmingham, Alabama. Formed in 2011 by drummer Adam Blevins, keyboardist Brandon C. Jones, bassist Eric Kimbrell, and guitarists Dallas Kelley and Zach Cooner, they developed a sprawling, slow-building sound in the vein of artists like Explosions in the Sky and Caspian. They released their debut album, Mother Reverb, in 2013, followed two years later by the follow-up LP Put the Beast Out of Mind. ~ Timothy Monger
