A Brooklyn-based dream pop outfit with a knack for pairing breezy, vintage Laurel Canyon-inspired West Coast retro-pop with moody, modern shoegaze, Gold Lake originated in Spain in 2009, when vocalist Lua Rios and guitarist Carlo Del Amo met at a Madrid night club. After relocating to the bustling indie pop borough of Brooklyn, the duo was joined by drummer Dave Burnett, and began creating a regional buzz.
