Cerebral London quartet Great Ytene take their name from an archaic term referring to the New Forest region on the south coast of England. Formed from the ashes of Colours, a similarly minded project, Great Ytene made their debut in 2013 with a pair of independently released singles that drew inspiration from Krautrock, psych, and shoegaze.
