Brooklyn-based indie quintet Habibi has grown from straightforward garage rock beginnings into more refined material and expanded instrumentation that reflected their Middle Eastern background on their 2020 sophomore album Anywhere But Here. By the time of 2024's Dreamachine, they had added dance music and vintage synth sounds to their repertoire.
