Driven by ear-splitting guitars, frenetic rhythms, and a caustic lyrical wit, Heavy Lungs have made good on a wave of late-2010s hype that came not only from a flurry of EPs -- most notably 2019's Measure, featuring the bouncy "(A Bit of A) Birthday" -- but a chance immortalization of sorts in a song by their close friends in the post-punk band IDLES.
