Henrik Appel's '60s-tinged garage tunes and raw, visceral vocal style are rooted in the Stockholm punk and garage rock scene of the 2010s. He released his first solo album, the electric guitar-centric Burning Bodies, in 2018 before expanding arrangements for 2021's Humanity.
Appel played bass in Martin Savage Gang and led garage rock outfit Lion's Den in the mid-2010s before emerging with his own solo material.
