Biography
The Los Angeles-based duo Hey, King! debuted their passionate blend of anthemic pop/rock and brittle folk on the Be Still EP in 2020. They returned to the studio with Grammy winner Ben Harper for their 2021 eponymous debut album, which added bluesy elements to the mix.
Named from a line in the 2009 filmization of Where the Wild Things Are, Hey, King! consists of Canadian songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Natalie London and American percussionist Taylor Plecity, both of whom sing for the group.
