Boston-based guitarist John Kolodij began his High Aura'd project in 2009, and his droning soundscapes were released on cassette and CD-R by labels such as Stunned Records, Reverb Worship, and Sweat Lodge Guru. His first vinyl release, Sanguine Futures, appeared on Bathetic Records in 2012, and featured trumpet from Greg Kelley of Nmerpign and production by Type founder John Twells (aka Xela).
