Canadian ambient techno producer Scott Morgan (aka Loscil) and classically trained cellist Mark Bridges produce sparse, wintry compositions under the name High Plains. The two musicians met in 2014 while they were both on residencies at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Banff, Alberta, Canada. The following year, Loscil released Adrift, a generative music app, which featured Bridges' cello playing.
