Baroque violinist Hiro Kurosaki has become a prominent figure in the field of historically informed performances, both as a performer and an educator. A native of Tokyo, Kurosaki was seven when his family moved to Vienna. He studied violin with Franz Samohyl, and participated in Nathan Milstein's master classes. A winner of prizes in the Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition and the Fritz Kreisler Competition, Kurosaki appeared with many major orchestras.
