Hurt Valley

As Hurt Valley, Los Angeles-based indie musician Brian Collins mixes elements of '60s psych-pop, melancholy folk-rock, and contemplative lo-fi. The project's first album, Glacial Pace, saw release in 2019. Collins came up with the moniker Hurt Valley following a trip to Death Valley in 2010. During the road trip, he and a friend stumbled upon a canyon clearing that held a vehicle graveyard filled with burned, vandalized, and bullet-strewn autos and trailers.
