Ilene Weiss

Weiss is from Philadelphia and now resides in New York City. A very perceptive writer of songs about romantic irony (which have been covered by Anne Hills, Deidre McCalla, Robin Flowers, Marcy Marxer, Cathy Fink, and others), she has been nominated for a BMI Songwriters Award and two New York Music Awards. She is also a contributor to The Fast Folk Musical Magazine. Among her releases were 1992's Outside and Curious, 1996's Obviously and 1997's Weiss Christmas. ~ Chip Renner & Richard Meyer
