Austrian pianist Ingolf Wunder began his musical studies at age 4, at first studying the violin, then taking up the piano after a few years. Following his courses at the music conservatories in Klagenfurt and Linz, he enrolled in the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Wunder made his debut in the Schubert Hall in the Vienna Konzerthaus at age 14, and two years later, gave a performance of the Prokofiev Third Piano Concerto at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris.
