Issa Gadala is a bachata singer who made his Casandra Award-winning debut with 10 Segundos in 2009. Born Issa Johnny Jadalla-Maria Miguel on July 15, 1981, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he initially established himself in his homeland before crossing over to the United States. In addition to the singles "Devuelveme" and "Busco Enamorarme," re-released editions of the 10 Segundos tacked on the follow-up hit "El Perdedor" as a bonus track.
