Argentine rock singer/guitarist JAF (born Juan Antonio Ferreyra), formed his first band, called La Máquina Infernal, at the age of 12, later participating in Puntual and La Banda Marrón. In the mid-'80s, JAF joined local heavy metal act Riff, composing one of their greatest hits, a song called "Elena X," featured on Riff VII.
