A celebrated jazz drummer, Joe Chambers is also a composer and commanding multi-instrumentalist who plays vibraphone, marimba, and piano. Chambers was a Blue Note house drummer during the 1960s, playing on dozens of the decade's most progressive albums, including Bobby Hutcherson's first ten albums.
