Biography
A key figure on the Chicago roots scene, guitarist/vocalist Joel Paterson is known for his vintage-inspired jazz, blues, country, and swing. Emerging in the late '90s, he grabbed attention with bands like Devil in a Woodpile and Jimmy Sutton and the Four Charms. As a solo artist, he has released albums of traditional blues covers, including 2002's Down at the Depot, 2005's Go Lightnin', and 2008's A Chicago Session.
