Juana Rozas

After studying music and theater and featuring in a few bands from the Buenos Aires indie scene, around 2019 Argentine singer, songwriter, and actress Juana Rozas decided to go solo. If early singles such as "Hija De La Lluvia" found her steering toward a neo-soul/R&B direction, by the time Rozas released her debut album, Vladi (2022), she had developed an interest in a more electronic and experimental style, influenced as much by hyperpop, emo, and dark wave as by horror movies, a gothic aesthetic, and even rave culture.
