Judith Ingolfsson

Violinist Judith Ingolfsson has performed in top venues in Europe and the U.S. since winning the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis in 1998. Dividing her time between Berlin and Baltimore, she is also an important educator and a music editor. Judith Ingolfsson was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, on May 13, 1973. Her father was Icelandic, and her mother was Swiss; since Ingolfsson is a patronymic and not a family name, she sometimes uses her full name, or simply the name Judith, in publicity materials.
