June Freedom's blend of dance-pop reflects the heritage of the West African island nation of Cabo Verde, where he spent his formative years. After making a splash with his debut single "Dor d'um Kriolu" in 2020, he further established himself on the albums Anchor Baby (2021) and 7 Seas (2023).
