South Korean-born harp virtuoso Jung debuted with the Seoul National Symphony Orchestra at the tender age of 14, just two years after taking up the instrument. She immigrated to Bloomington, Indiana, in 1986 to study with Susann McDonald. Jung eventually graduated from Indiana University and furthered her training at the Eastman School of Music with Kathleen Bride.
