Biography

Kathy & Carol were the folk duet of Kathy Larisch and Carol McComb, who did one album of harmonized Renaissance ballads for Elektra in 1965. Though somewhat emblematic of the high, pure female vocals that were so prevalent in early-1960s folk music, there's beauty and imagination to the vocal harmonies, usually done with acoustic guitar accompaniment, and sometimes done a cappella.
